No lens is ordered until an AHPC-registered optometrist has checked your prescription against the frame you chose and the measurements we hold. If your prescription is over two years old, we will say so.

At Lead Opticals, we bring together professional eye care and carefully fitted eyewear. We help you understand your prescription and choose frames and lenses suited to your vision needs, daily activities and comfort.
Before your lenses are made, we check your prescription and take fitting measurements with your chosen frames in place. These checks help position the lenses correctly for your eyes.
If anything needs clarification, we contact you before proceeding. After collection, you are welcome to return for advice and fitting support, with free adjustments for frames purchased from us.

We quote the whole price
Frame and lens costs are shown separately before you pay, lens options included. We will also tell you which options you do not need.
We fit for life, free
Frames move. Heat, sleep, and children all shift them. Bring yours in whenever it stops sitting right — there is no charge, no appointment, and no expiry on that.
We refer when we should
An eye test is a health check. If we see signs of glaucoma, diabetic changes, or anything outside our scope, we refer you the same day and charge nothing for it.
The team
Who you will actually see.
A small professional eye-care team. You will see the same people each visit, which is how anyone notices a change in your eyes over time. Every examination is carried out by an AHPC-registered optometrist.
Standards
Registered, and happy to be checked.
Optometry in Ghana is regulated for good reason. Our practising registration and our practice licence are both current, and both are on the wall in the consulting room where you can read them.
